Toner
“The original was an alcohol-based product that was used to dry up oily skin and remove any leftover dirt following cleansing,” Dr. Nazarian says. Toner is best applied after removing makeup and after cleansing your face in the morning. Toner is a liquid type of moisturizer giving the face a fresh hydrated look. Ingredients to look for in a toner based on what you want. Alpha and beta hydroxy acids are to gently remove dead skin cells that clog pores, improve U.V damaged skin. Rose water and green tea to calm irritation and reduce redness. Vitamin E and CC to fight exposure to free radicals which causes skin to age. In addition depending on the skin type you should have different toners. If you have normal and dry the most effective would be milky and hydrating formulas to soothe the dryness. If you have normal, oily, and combination skin should aim to use lightweight formulas to improve skin tone and texture. Sensitive skin types should use specially formulated toners to soothe redness and calm aggravated skin.

Serum
Face serums are a type of product which contains a high concentration of ingredients which allow it to quickly absorb into the skin unlike some other products. Face serums has many benefits such as soothing skin, improving fine lines and more due to its high concentration of ingredients.
There are many different serums and finding the one best suited to you is important. Whether you want to improve fine lines, sooth the skin, brightening skin, and more. Each serum has a different effect and make sure to choose the one best suited to you.

Eye cream
Eye creams contain products/chemicals that help smoothen the skin. The eye cream contains humectants like hyaluronic acid and bionic acid which help pull the water in from the deeper skin tissues. Eye cream is similar to moisturizers in the sense that they restore the skin and help hydrate the skin. In addition eye creams reduce the puffiness and dark circles of the eye making you appear younger and brighter. While looking for eye creams it is best to choose one based on your specific skin type and one that is tested by an ophthalmologist.

Hyloronic Acid
Hyaluronic acids have chain like molecules called polymers. These molecules have spots where materials like water can latch on to, making it able to carry one and a half gallons of water. Hyaluronic acid if taken on the skin makes the skin stretch and flexible which helps reduce skin wrinkles. However hyaluronic acid has many uses not only for the skin.

Moisturizer
Moisturizer is an ingredient that hydrates the face, this step in skincare is a major step in a routine. Moisturizer creates a barrier between the skin and the climate, in addition it rehydrates the skin reducing the chances of dryness. Continues use of moisturizer improves the skins barrier, skin texture, and firms the skin.
